Newark-Union City Death Notices

Wilma Billie Calcagno, a resident of Newark, was born in Sacramento. At age 70, she graduated with honors with a degree in English from Cal State Hayward. She was a photographer, poet and artist. She was a "pink lady" volunteer at Washington Hospital and the original owner of Spin-A-Yarn in Fremont. Calcagno passed away on July 25 at the age of 95.

Bonnie Genilla, a resident of Union City, was remembered by family and friends at a memorial service last Saturday. She passed away on July 31 at the age of 71.
