Once Upon a Child to Host Grand Opening on Thursday

Once Upon a Child will soon have children items available for sale.

The store, which buys and sells children's apparel, toys and equipment, will host a grand opening this week and begin selling merchandise to its customers. 

Owned by Nolan and Normilene Perry, the store officially opened in mid-February.

This week's grand opening ceremony will include a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Newark Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Al Nagy at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Newark's Once Upon a Child will be located at 39644 Cedar Blvd. Its store phone number is 510-573-4530. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
