Save Ramirez Farm and Peterson Farmhouse; Say No to Valle

There is a CALTRANS 35-acre vacant parcel next to Quarry Lakes. Caltrans is leasing this public land to private parties. The site includes: a national cultural asset; oldest farmhouse in Fremont/Union City, ` Ramirez Farm which grows pesticide-free produce, a horse ranch and Alameda Creek.
The $300M East West connector will generate 50,000+ daily trips from I-880 @ Decoto through Ramirez Farm to Mission Blvd @ 7th Street. Supervisor Valle asked for $125M in Measure BB funds to supplement the $300M East West Connector project. This project is underfunded and he is now asking Union City, to build the road. I think $300M could be used to improve your quality of life including open spaces and parks for your children.
