Serene Waterfall: Newark Photo of the Week

Patch loves photos! Share your photos to Albany Patch and your work could be featured.

NEWARK, CA — Some of us are just suckers for waterfalls. For vacation this year, I traveled to Oregon to see the iconic Multnomah Falls. I also visited all of the waterfalls along that route and ventured into Washington to see the breathtaking Panther Creek Falls. I've found a kindred spirit in Newark resident Dianna Harter who shared this lovely photo of Fern Canyon waterfall in Russain Gulch State Park, up in Mendicino County. Adding it to my must-see list.

Dianna's photo was taken just a few weekends ago, on Aug. 14. Imagine this waterfall in the spring! Thank you for sharing the photo, Dianna.

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.
