Mayor's State of City Address
Mayor Al Nagy will deliver his annual State of the City Address on Thursday, April 18. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Newark Hilton, 39900 Balentine Dr. Nagy's speech will begin at 12:30 p.m. The event is hosted by the Newark Chamber of Commerce and the City of Newark.
Beauty and the Beast Jr. Auditions Continue Monday

Auditions for Stage 1 Theatre's "Beauty and the Beast" show will be held on Monday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Performances of the show will be held in August and the participation fee per student is $250. The fee for an additional student from the same family will cost $150. For more information, click here.
NewPark Mall to Host Prom Dress Drive

Students from James Logan High School will hold a prom dress drive at NewPark Mall on Saturday and Sunday. Donations of prom dresses and accessories are wanted and will be collected from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The dress drive will be held on the lower level of NewPark Mall, 2085 NewPark Mall, near JC Penney.
