Thornton Avenue Reopens Following Major Crash

NEWARK, CA — Newark Police report that Thornton Avenue has reopened following a major crash Wednesday morning.

For a time, Thornton Avenue was closed in both directions at Hickory Street. Police had urged driversto use alternative routes.

There is no immediate information available on injuries from the crash.
