Major Crash In Newark

NEWARK, CA — The Newark Police Department reports that a major crash happened in the area of Central Avenue and Cedar Boulevard.

Shortly before noon on Friday, police asked drivers to avoid the area for two to three hours. It was not reported as open again until 11 p.m.
