10 Must Dos At Disneyland Holidays 2018
It's the most wonderful time of the year! And at Disneyland, the magic will inspire you until Jan. 6, 2019. Here is what you can experience!
We love Disneyland during the holidays, and here are some absolute must-see and do things the next time you head to the park.
Everywhere you go little touches and changes have transformed Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park into a winter wonderland, California style.
- Pose by the Christmas tree at Disneyland Resort, that tree on Main Street stands 60 feet tall! Wait in line and have a cast member take your Christmas card photo! if you have a Max Pass, you can download it for FREE!
- Make sure to visit "It's A Small World Holiday!" Inside, learn how to say Merry Christmas in just about every language under the sun! Outside, at night, see the over 400,000 twinkling lights that make the favorite ride such a holiday delight.
- Toontown has celebrated with "toon" trees, and decorations that are truly unique to each of the characters who call that section of the park home. Come visit Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale's homes and see for yourself!
- Have you stopped by the Haunted Mansion Holiday? Jack Skellington and his crew have once again made the holiday their own with this supernatural transformation that is celebrating its 25th year at the park. This year, check out that 5-foot tall gingerbread spider!
- At California Adventure, be sure to see that Disney Festival Of Holidays in food, folks and fun. Cultural festivities inspired by Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day are all celebrated in food, drinks and parades!
- Cars Land Christmas has transformed the popular area of the park with Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and Mater's Jingle Jamboree, along with unique music and decor across the land.
- Drop into the hotels to see specially decorated Christmas Trees and the brilliant gingerbread house at the Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa!
- Remember to drink in the sight of the holiday flora across all parks and hotels, and Downtown Disney! 10,000 poinsettia and 10,000 cyclamen plants adorn the park grounds.
- At night, pause to delight in the transformation of the centerpiece, Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle! this year, over 126,000 twinkling lights, icicles and snow capped turrets will astound you as a backdrop to fireworks!
- Visit Santa Claus! That's right. The big man himself is hanging out at Disney California Adventure Park this year! He'll be there to greet guests daily at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail located in Disney California Adventure Park. Here, guests can enjoy special holiday-themed activities with Santa Claus and his sleigh full of mischievous elves through Dec. 24.
