NEWPORT BEACH, CA— The annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week is almost here, and we've broken down what you need to know when you go.

  1. When is Newport Beach Restaurant Week? The Restaurant Week runs from April 19 to May 2. Yes, that's actually two weeks for you to support local! Delicious chef-prepared meals across the city can be purchased for less than the price of groceries to fix dinner yourself. And aren't we all done with cooking for ourselves now, anyway? This is your chace to do something good both for your family, and the neighborhood.
  2. Dining Week Has Gone Digital. Preregister, foodies, if you want to make the most out of your restaurant week dining experience. The Newport Beach digital Restaurant Pass is FREE to downloadand gives you the chance to see which restaurants are participating. There are links to categories of special menu items and the locations that are serving them. From Prix Fixe to take-out, specialty menu items to desserts, cocktails and more, this preview will open up with more features starting April 19.
  3. What's On The Menu? Sort through an A-Z list of participating restaurants to see what's on the menu. Special pricing for Restaurant Week guests is available for lunch and dinner options. Menues are available for brunch, lunch and dinner. For lunch, prices start at $15 per diner and range to $30. Dinner menues begin at $30 and range to $55 per diner. Brunch is also available at some locations, typically at $25 per diner.
  4. Do I Have To Order Restaurant Week Food, or Eat At The Restaurant? No, of course not. If you have a favorite regular menu item at a restaurant you visit, order off the regular menu. Still, check out those specialty menu items that chefs will add as the weeks go on, not as pricy as a full Prix Fixe and still with the fun and flavors of the foodie favorie week of the year. Restaurant Week Newport Beach is an opportunity to stretch your palate and find new flavors from some of the best chefs in Orange County. As for dining in, there are exclusive TAKE-OUT opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
