'The Amorous Ambassador' In Newport Beach Will Leave You Laughing
This play, described as "an American farce" is an uproarious comedy at Newport Beach's Newport Theater Art Center.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The latest show produced by the Newport Theatre Arts Center, directed by Bob Fete, has opened with rave reviews, according to theater fans.
"The Amorous Ambassador" is a comedic look at the new American Ambassador to Britain, who tells his family he’s off to Scotland to play golf. Meanwhile, his wife and daughter announce weekend plans of their own.
Perkins, the butler, watches stoically as each of them leaves, then secretly returns to a seemingly empty house, the show is described.

The ensemble cast will leave the show in stitches. Following last month's Agatha Christie adaptation of "The Hollow," this comedy is just what the doctor--or the ambassador--ordered.
This show runs through Dec. 9.
