Average Orange County Gas Price Drops For 36th Time In 37 Days
The average Orange County gas price has dropped for the 36th time in the past 37 days, falling 1.7 cents to $3.786, its lowest since April.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- The average price of regular self serve gasoline in Orange County fell for the 36th time in the past 37 days on Thursday, dropping 1.7 cents to $3.786, its lowest amount since April 5, according to data from the Automobile Club of Southern California and the Oil Price Information Service.
The price has fallen 31 cents over the past 37 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to AAA. The average price is 7.7 cents less than one week ago and 25.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 9.1 cents more than a year ago.
In Los Angeles County, the average price for regular gas fell for the 37th consecutive day on Thursday according to AAA, decreasing 1 cent to $3.831, its lowest amount since April 6.

The average price in L.A. County has decreased 28.9 cents during the streak, including 1 cent on Wednesday, according to AAA data. It's 6.5 cents less than one week ago and 24 cents lower
than one month ago, but 9.3 cents more than a year ago.
