Bicyclist, 80, Killed In Newport Beach Identified By OC Coroner
A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while he was riding his bicycle in Newport Beach last week.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — An 80-year-old bicyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Newport Beach was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner's office.
Ernest Adams of Newport Beach was hit by the vehicle on a Newport Beach street at about 1:40 a.m. on March 29, the coroner's office reported.
Adams was taken to the Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where he later died.
