Chargers Start Off-Season Workout Program
This week, the Chargers have returned to their Costa Mesa facility for strength and conditioning. Are you Chargers or Rams fans?

COSTA MESA, CA — The Los Angeles Chargers, fresh off their winning season, hit the gym this week for the start of their nine-week 2019 off-season workout and conditioning training program.
A two-week phased workout program, players will work on strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation under terms of the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Coach Anthony Lynn said he was pleased with "the guys that are here and showed up" for the early training, he said in a statement. Notably, quarterback Philip Rivers was absent, however Lynn said his absence was "excused."

"Philip is with his family on vacation," Lynn said. "He does a family vacation around Easter every year. Easter was pushed back this year, so I didn't want him showing up here just for today and tomorrow, and then going back with his family in Florida."
The first of the sessions took place Monday at the Chargers Hoag Performance Center training facility in Costa Mesa.
