Christina Anstead's Baby Boy Born Friday
It was a touching Twitter moment as the car guru Ant Anstead shared the news that his & HGTV designer wife's son Hudson London was born.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA —Welcome to the world, Hudson London Anstead! DIY fans and gear heads anxiously awaited the news of Christina and Ant Anstead's bundle of joy, who was born Friday, Sept. 6.
Last week interior designer and HGTV star Christina Anstead said that she would be having her baby by scheduled C-section after the struggles she had with her son Brayden's emergency C-section, and the physical and emotional difficulty of his birth.
"I don't feel comfortable trying to go down that route again. Bray was 8-pounds, 13-ounces, after pushing for hours and hours, he was just stuck, and his heart rate was dropping," she wrote. "Based on ultrasound measurements, we think this is going to be another big boy so this is the direction we've decided to take."

She stated that the countdown was on! just one week to go. Her husband, Ant Anstead, shared over Twitter Thursday evening that his latest project was his last...at least for a couple of weeks.
"My car, just built from scratch, fired up and is fantastic. But today, right now? this is the last working day for me. I'm about to walk out the door," Ant Anstead said to his Twitter followers. "Because... tomorrow morning... I'm having a baby."

Seven days after her Instagram announcement, El Moussa, shared the Anstead's date of delivery on Thursday night while at the premiere of "A Very Brady Renovation," Us Weekly reported. El Moussa told reporters that Friday, Sept. 6, was indeed the day for the baby's arrival, according to the report from US Weekly.
El Moussa famously broke the news about the Anstead baby's gender over the summer. Still, if he intended on bursting the Anstead's bubble over their scheduled due date, he was too late for true fans.
His statement couldn't disrupt the look of sheer wonder on Ant Anstead's face during the father's farewell to work message, or the beauty of Christina's simple post to her friends, family, and fans.
"The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I'm not sleeping, irritable and uncomfortable," she wrote on her Instagram page. "I'm ready to be done and to meet our little man."
She has two children from her previous marriage to El Moussa, daughter, Taylor and son, Brayden.
The new baby is the first child for Christina and Ant Anstead.
And yes, her en suite bathroom decor is absolutely amazing.
View this post on InstagramWell.... Here we go @ant_anstead ... our world is about to get rocked - in all the best ways of course. One week until my scheduled c-section. I chose to do this because I had an emergency c-section with Brayden and the whole experience and recovery was really hard on me physically and emotionally. I really don’t feel comfortable trying to go down that route again. Bray was 8lbs 13oz - after pushing for hours and hours - he was just stuck and his heart rate was dropping. Based on ultrasound measurements we think this is going to be another big boy so this is the direction we’ve decided to take. The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I’m not sleeping, irritable and uncomfortable. I’m definitely ready to be done and to meet our little man. One week countdown
