Pacific Coast League: The Sea Kings have to come from behind but they win their 20th in a row to claim the league title.

Corona del Mar has won back-to-back Southern Section championships, and the Sea Kings will go after their third in a row as the Southern Division's top-seeded team after completing the regular season undefeated.
The Sea Kings stretched their winning streak to 20 games—although they had to come back from an early deficit against Northwood—to put the finishing touches on a Pacific Coast League title.

Key Stats: Luke Napolitano passed for 219 yards and a touchdown, and also scored on a 2-yard run for Corona del Mar.
Pivotal Moment: A blocked punt late in the second quarter gave Corona del Mar good field position, and Napolitano connected with William Hunter for a 33-yard scoring pass and a 28-14 lead with 2:12 left. Northwood’s early 14-0 lead was gone and all the momentum was with CdM.

When the Sea Kings won the section championship in 2011, they had finished second to Beckman, which they beat in the finals, 14-13. …  Cole Martin rushed for 109 yards, including a 3-yard score, for the Sea Kings. … Anthony Battista rushed for two touchdowns, of 33 an 14 yards.
