NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Sherman Library & Gardens is accepting nominations for its 2021 Newport Beach Garden Tour, now in its 25th year and a key fundraiser for the gardens and museum in Corona Del Mar.

“The Newport Beach Garden Tour is Sherman Library & Gardens’ largest fundraiser of the year, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our Volunteer Association and the community," said Scott LaFleur, Sherman's executive director. "Let’s make the 25th Annual Newport Beach Garden Tour our best one yet!

"Nominate yourself, your friend, your neighbor or that garden that always catches your eye.”

The annual tour, typically a walk-thru of six residential gardens and held the Saturday before Mother’s Day, is set this year for Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The deadline for submissions is March 1.

If the tour goes “virtual” again this year, homeowners would agree to a professional videographer filming their gardens in mid-to-late April, organizers said.
