Madison Spach Named to Priority Center Board of Directors

The Priority Center Focuses on Ending the Generational Cycle of Trauma

The Priority Center, based in Anaheim, California, has named Madison S. Spach Jr., Esq., to its board of directors. Formerly known as the Child Abuse Prevention Center, the nonprofit organization remains focused on ending the generational cycle of trauma.

A partner in the law firm Spach, Capaldi & Waggaman, LLP, of Newport Beach, California, Spach has more than 35 years of experience in litigation and appellate work involving complex business and contract disputes. He is an expert in litigation for the interactive entertainment and new media assets industry as well as real estate land use and construction issues. In 2019, Spach was named to a special advisory committee for the United States Department of Commerce focusing on international trade finance. He is a frequent speaker on technology developments and electronic discovery.

Spach earned his undergraduate, masters and juris doctorate degrees from Duke University. He also holds a certificate from MIT’s Sloan School of Management in “Blockchain Technologies” and is the former publisher and author of the Last Word – Using Microsoft Word in Law and Business Offices publication.

Spach joins a diverse board of directors composed of many of Orange County’s top leaders from business, law, philanthropy, finance and other professions.

“As we continue to build programs designed to meet the needs of adults and children in crisis in light of the expanding use of technology in our society, Madison’s legal expertise in new media and the digital industry will be a terrific addition to our board of directors,” according to Lisa Fujimoto, executive director for the Priority Center.

The Priority Center’s mission is to deliver life-changing programs to provide individuals, families and children with the tools and support necessary to end the generational cycle of trauma. The center currently offers 10 programs ranging from infant and toddler in-home visitation programs to in-home crisis stabilization for children and adults experiencing a mental health crisis including suicidal or homicidal thoughts. Since its founding in 1983, the nonprofit organization has provided services to more than 300,000 children, parents and individual adults from all walks of life in Orange County.
