Newport Beach Power Outage Affects Hundreds, Stalls Traffic
SoCal Edison Repair crews were on the way to this Newport Beach intersection where an outage created a traffic nightmare for residents.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Southern California Edison is reporting on their outage map that 436 customers in Newport Beach are without power this afternoon.
Drivers are asked to avoid the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Bonita Canyon Drive until after 5 p.m. while SoCal Edison made the necessary repairs to a "blown out generator." No other information is available.
