Newport Voters: Where To Vote In 2nd Dist. Supervisor Election

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The election for Orange County's 2nd Supervisorial District concludes Tuesday, March 9, to fill the vacancy in that office, according to Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley. Former Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Michelle Steel was elected to United States Representative, 48th District, in November.

Voters approved the County of Orange’s Charter, which requires the Board of Supervisors to call a special election to fill a vacancy on the Board not less than 56 days nor more than 70 days after a vacancy on the Board occurs, Kelley's office reported.
