No Mega Millions Winner, So Jackpot Grows to $356 Million
Thirty-nine tickets sold had five numbers, but none had the Mega number.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Friday's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing will grow to $356 million.
There were 39 tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, including seven in California. The ones sold in California are each worth $259,382, while the other 32 are each worth $250,000, a California Lottery official announced.
California law requires most major payoffs of lottery games in the state to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

Tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, were sold in two locations in Los Angeles County -- the California Commerce Club in Commerce and a 7-Eleven store at 1106 W. Beverly Blvd. in Montebello.
The numbers drawn Friday were 6, 17, 19, 20, 21 and the Mega number was 20. The estimated jackpot was $290 million, the largest since March 25, 2011, when it was $319 million.

The drawing was the 17th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 40.
The Mega Millions game is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
