NEWPORT BEACH, CA —The Newport Beach Boat Parade continues to wow audiences with the stunning lights and floating spectacle around Balboa Island. On Dec. 18, the official launch party of the Christmas Boat Parade took place, with Grand Marshall, Christina Anstead of HGTV "Flip or Flop" and "Christina on the Coast" fame, in attendance.
One year ago, Christina Anstead and her husband, Anthony Anstead, planned their surprise wedding themed around the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade (SEE full slideshow of the event, above!)

"Every year, we come with our family and take the kids out to see the parade," she said. "It's an honor to be the Grand Marshall for the 111th boat parade."

Anstead sailed the harbor with boats themed as circus trains, rocket ships, Snoopy, and of course, anchored by an appearance of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Fireworks ended the spectacle, visible up and down the Orange County coastline. In all, it was a magical moment for all who attended.
