September Kicks Off Month Of Restaurant Deals In Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — City-by-city "restaurant week" promotions typically run during winter months in California, including in Newport Beach, with prix-fixe menus and specials.

But given the hit area eateries are suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic, local restaurateurs have launched a September campaign: Newport Beach Restaurant Month: Eat. Drink. Win.

Running Sept. 1 though Sept. 30, the first-ever, month-long promo features a digital "Dine Pass," giving users the scoop on Newport Beach restaurants' daily deals, plus the chance to win food prizes and getaway vacations, according to sponsors, Dine Newport Beach and the Newport Beach Restaurant Association.

After signing up online, patrons will be able to unlock via text or email on their phones a variety of exclusive daily offers and opportunities to win one of four grand-prize hotel stays.

Here is how it works:

• Follow this link and sign-up for a Newport Beach Restaurant Month Dine Pass.
• The pass is instantly delivered via text and email, and can be saved on the phone’s home screen for easy access.
• Browse participating restaurants for al fresco dining or take-out.
• Click the “Check-In” button at the eatery, and each “Check-In” is an entry for daily giveaways and vacation stays in Newport Beach.
