Southbound 73 Drivers Brake For Mulch In Lanes
Drivers ran into a landscaper's nightmare as CHP reported a traffic break due to mulch covering lanes on Thursday morning.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Drivers heading southbound on the 73 Freeway near the 405 had to avoid mulch in the lanes on Thursday morning at just after 9:30 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol.
It was unclear how the mulch ended up in the lanes, however but it was enough to warrant a traffic break to clean up the mess.
Southbound 73 drivers paused for approximately 15 minutes during the cleanup. The roadways were reopened by 10 a.m. according to CHP.
