Students Invited to Coastline's College Preview Day

Newport Beach's Coastline Community College is hosting a College Preview Day next week for local high school students to get a sneak peek into a college classroom.

The College Preview Day will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The campus located at 1515 Monrovia in Newport Beach. Students will be able to drop in on Art Gallery Production, Drawing, College Algebra, Human Anatomy, Intermediate Algebra, Paralegal Studies, U.S. History, Psychology and Physics classes.

“This is going to be a very unique event in that College Preview Day attendees will be able drop-in on real college classes that are being held the day of the event,” Cristina Arellano, who conducts outreach for the college, said in a released statement.

Students will also have the opportunity to tour the campus, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, talk to college officials about programs and get information on registration and financial aid.
