NEWPORT BEACH, CA — You're doing last minute preparations, the Turkey is in the oven and company is on the way! but you've forgotten one important detail! We've all been there.

Whether it's whipped cream for the pies of that jar of obligatory cranberry sauce, plenty of grocery stores will be open across Orange County area for your last-minute shopping needs. Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, and what will stay closed.

  • Pavilions: 21181 Newport Coast Dr.: Holiday Hours: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pavilions: 2660 San Miguel Drive: Holiday Hours: 5 a.m. to 8 p.m
  • Ralphs: 2555 Eastbluff Drive: Holiday Hours: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Ralphs: 1150 Irvine Avenue: Holiday Hours: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Gelsons: 1660 San Miguel Drive: Holiday Hours: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Island Market: 500 S. Bay Front: Holiday Hours:7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Trader Joes: 8086 Pacific Coast Highway: CLOSED
  • Whole Foods: 415 Newport Center: Holiday Hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Government offices in Orange County shut their doors Thursday in celebration of Thanksgiving Day. There was no U.S. Mail delivery or trash service.
