The Zagat Survey in 2008 called the Newport dining institution "worth a visit if you love classic dishes and service. The tableside preparation of our Caesar salad was like taking a class in how to make a great salad. The seafood, especially the Abalone and Scampi, wowed us with tenderness and flavor. Owner Dan chats with his customers like with old friends, handing out red roses to the ladies! Superb!"
