Three Injured in PCH Crash
The critically injured are taken to trauma centers following the crash late Saturday.

Three people were in critical condition after a BMW went the wrong way on Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach and collided with a Honda, a police sergeant said Sunday.
The accident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on PCH at Newport Boulevard, said Newport Beach police Sgt. B. Moore.
"The BMW was westbound at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center median to the eastbound side and struck a Honda that was exiting the transition from Newport Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway," Moore said.

"One BMW passenger was seriously hurt and transported to a trauma center and two in the Honda were seriously injured and taken to trauma centers," he said. They were in critical condition.
Three others in the BMW suffered minor injuries, Moore said.

"The investigation is ongoing, there have been no arrests," he said. The BMW driver remained at the scene and was one of the people with minor injuries. Â Â
