UC Irvine Housing Resident Tests Positive For Coronavirus
UC Irvine reported Saturday that a person living in the school's graduate student housing tested positive for COVID-19.
IRVINE, CA — UC Irvine Saturday reported that a person living in the school's graduate student housing tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus.
"UCI was notified that a resident of graduate student housing tested positive for #COVID19. The patient, a non-student, is isolated & the risk of contamination is low," the university tweeted at 9:42 a.m. "Follow @CAgovernor stay home order."
It was not immediately clear when the person tested positive for COVID-19.

Orange County Public Health officials said Friday that the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county was 65.
