13-Year-Old Straight-A Nobel Student Dies After Huffing Computer Cleaner
Her parents are devastated in Porter Ranch. "It's the worst thing I've ever felt," says her mother.

It was a common can of computer duster. One puff and no more keyboard dust.
But in the hands of a 13-year-old Porter Ranch teenager, one huff meant death.
Aria Doherty, a straight-A student at Nobel Middle School in Northridge, loved animals and had dreams of becoming a surgeon. Her sister found her dead inside her home Monday night.

The girl’s parents, Richard and Carolyn, said Aria went into cardiac arrest after inhaling -- or huffing -- a can of computer duster.
Richard said he had no idea something they used to clean their computer could kill their daughter.

“It’s senseless. There’s no explanation,” he told KCAL9.
Carolyn said, “It’s the worst thing I’ve ever felt. I did not know anything could be this bad.”
