19 Ventura Blvd. Businesses Vandalized In BB Gun Shooting Spree
It's the second time in less than a year that someone shot up the storefronts of dozens of San Fernando Valley businesses.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Vandals shot up the windows of dozens of Ventura Boulevard businesses early Wednesday morning in the San Fernando Valley. Los Angeles police hope someone will come forward with information about the shooting spree.
In all, nineteen businesses were damaged in the BB gun shooting spree, which began at about 4 a.m. Wednesday in the Tarzana area, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Lizeth Lomeli.
"We don't know the extent of the damage yet," added LAPD Officer J. Chaves.

Anyone with information about the case can call investigators at 818-756-4800.
Business owners arrived to find shattered windows and doors Wednesday. Many spent the morning sweeping up the damage and boarding up their windows to secure their business.

Officers from multiple police stations are involved in the investigation, Lomeli said.
No injuries were reported.
A similar attack happened along a mile stretch of Ventura Boulevard in the same area over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2020. At the time, vandals shot the windows of about a dozen storefronts.
Authorities did not say if the two attacks may be connected.
