A 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries after they were struck by a vehicle Wednesday in Northridge, police and fire officials said.
The incident was reported at 7:58 p.m in the 14800 W Roscoe Blvd. near Willis Avenue, said spokesman Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The two children were taken to the hospital in critical, but stable condition, said Lt. Debra Brownsten of the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division.
The driver of the vehicle, a 62-year-old man that remained at the scene, was also hospitalized with injuries, Scott said.
An investigation was completed, though Brownsten said she was unaware of the details of how the collision happened.
However, she did say that the driver has not been arrested.
