Porter Ranch Woman In Custody After 10-Hour Police Standoff
A woman barricaded herself inside her Porter Ranch home for 10 hours after a domestic violence call.

PORTER RANCH, CA —A Porter Ranch woman was taken into custody Thursday afternoon following a 10-hour police standoff.
Officers were called to the 19500 block of Quail Creek Place, near the Porter Valley Country Club, at around 7 a.m. Thursday on reports of a domestic disturbance, LAPD spokesperson Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
Inside, the woman was armed with a gun and refused to exit the home. An LAPD SWAT team, ambulances, and fire trucks camped outside the home for several hours waiting.

The woman surrendered at 4:50 p.m. without incident. No injuries or hostages were reported.
