An attic fire in a Northridge home was knocked down in 23 minutes Tuesday and no injuries were reported, but police were sent to investigate a report there was a marijuana growing operation inside the home, authorities said.
The fire in the 9400 block of Donna Avenue, near Plummer Street, was reported at 6:30 p.m., said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Brian Humphrey.
It took 32 firefighters to knock down the blaze, Humphrey said.
