UPDATE: That bear that has been roaming the Granada Hills area for most of the day has been tranquilized, and officials are working to transport it out of the area.
A black bear spotted in Granada Hills Tuesday morning is giving fish and game officials a tough time as it's evaded several capture attempts, KTLA reports.
It was first seen around 7 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of St. Andrew & St. Charles in the 16000 block of Rinaldi Street.
Â
The bear ended up climbing a tree where it stayed for an hour, before coming down and being shot with a tranquilizer dart, which had no effect, according to KTLA
The animal was last scene near Knollwood Golf Course.Â
