LOS ANGELES, CA — This Memorial Day weekend, it's time for special deals in celebration of our great nation. We've rounded up a few both military-specific, as well as deals for the general public.

Memorial Day is one of the biggest family and shopping weekends of the year. If you are active duty military or a veteran, check to see if military discounts are applicable all year long!

Day Trips Across SoCal:

Disneyland: If you are an active duty or retired member of the military, purchase a specially priced theme park ticket!this Military Promotional 3-Day or 4-Day park hopperenables you to visit each park on each day of your ticket. Purchase by Dec. 2018, valid through Dec. 19, 2018.

Great Wolf Lodge: With the Howling Heroes discount for active, retired and veteran military service members, as well as fire, police, and correctional officers, enjoy 30% off the best available rates at Orange County's most fun indoor water par hotel.

Knott's Berry Farm: Not just on Memorial day, but every day, show your Military ID and save. Veterans and service men and women get one free admission per adult, and up to six discounted tickets.

Legoland Resort: Purchase tickets on base or recieve 10% off admission at Legoland with a valid military ID. Also, get discounted room rates at the Legoland Hotel!

Safari Park: Military Discounts are valid all year long, including holidays! Complimentary admission is reserved exclusively for active duty service members upon presenting valid ID. Military spouses and eligible dependents receive a 10% discount off the 1-Day Pass at both the Zoo and Safari Park and do not need to be accompanied by an active duty member of the Armed Forces. Just show your valid dependent ID card at any ticket window!

Sea World San Diego: Thanks to the activemilitary promotion called "Waves of Honor," SeaWorld supports Active Military Members with special offers. Log in with your Troop ID to save. Sea World offers a free admission for active military and their families, for visits until Dec. 31, 2018.

Free, Cheap Food For Vets & Active Military

Golden Corral: Check your location, as some Golden Corral restaurants are offering 50% off your check, and 10% off for guest's meals.

Hooters: How would you like your wings? Hooters will offer vets and active duty military personnel a complimentary meal on Memorial Day. Must have a valid military ID. Choose from eligible entrees.
McCormick & Schmick's: This restaurant offers vets, parents and spouses (and those of active duty, as well) a free entree on May 28.

Outback Steakhouse: Until May 28, all veterans and active duty servicemen and women will receive 20% off of your check.

Best Buy: Memorial Day weekend sale offers up to 50% off large and small appliances, and up to $200 off some brands.
