Chatsworth Family to Appear on Remodeling Show

Dane White is a Chatsworth dad who loves to throw parties and get togethers, but he's also an active volunteer who does a lot of youth sports coaching.

That's why a family friend successfully nominated him to be a part of a OWN reality show to give his den a facelift to make it more inviting for his guests.

The White family and their household transformation will be featured on an episode of Home Made Simple this Saturday at 9 a.m.

White had to spend three days away from his house as the rest of his family teamed up with a designer and gave the den a new look. Now, shelving space has been creatively transformed into additional seating for guests among other decorative tweaks.

White says he's very grateful for the opportunity and that he looks forward to making more great memories with family and friends at his residence, a tradition that dates back to his childhood.

"My wife and I just adopt everybody," he said. "People come over to watch football, play video games have a barbecue. We just like to entertain and I like to cook for a lot of people."
