Chatsworth House Fire Quickly Extinguished By Firefighters

In just 12 minutes Sunday, firefighters extinguished flames coming from an outbuilding behind a Chatsworth residence.

CHATSWORTH, CA — In just 12 minutes Sunday firefighters extinguished flames coming from an outbuilding behind a Chatsworth residence along the 22000 block of West Marilla Street, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 1:38 a.m.

A total of 26 firefighters helped to get the fire under control and to protect nearby structures, Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
