Chatsworth Neighborhood Council Winners Certified
The Selection Committee certified the official 12 winners Wednesday after a recount.
CHATSWORTH, CA — The Chatsworth Neighborhood Council Selection Committee met Wednesday night to certify the results of the 2021 Selection. New and re-elected councilmembers will be sworn in Wednesday, April 2.
Geoffrey Williams, a homeless advocate and community volunteer, won in a recount against consultant Jett Dunlap. Williams will serve a one-year term, while the other 11 members will serve two-year terms.

- Linda van der Valk, CNC incumbent, chair of Land Use Committee: 163 votes
- Georgia Altmayer, Neighborhood Watch coordinator, community volunteer: 153 votes
- Marianne King, retired city planner, community volunteer: 149 votes
- Jim Van Gundy, CNC incumbent, member of Chatsworth Coordinating Council, Santa Susana Mountain Park Association, Chatsworth Historical Society Treasurer: 148 votes
- Andre F. van der Valk, CNC vice president, co-president of Chatsworth Historical Society: 144 votes
- Jill Mather, community volunteer, founder of Volunteers Cleaning Communities: 143 votes
- Jeff Mackie, CNC incumbent, member of Outreach and Equestrian committees: 137 votes
- Nicolas Montaño, owner of Los Torros Mexican Restaurant, community volunteer: 133 votes
- Frank Geraty, retired broadcasting technician, community volunteer: 113 votes
- Robert Glucksman, community volunteer: 78 votes
- Carey Tri, Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park and community volunteer: 59 votes
- Geoffrey Williams, homeless advocate, community volunteer: 48 votes
