CSUN is offering “Courses For Causes” to Northridge residents
CSUN is offering two free classes this summer to anyone who has had their work negatively impacted by COVID-19.

The Coronavirus pandemic has created a climate of uncertainty, making it difficult for business leaders and frontline workers to navigate these unprecedented times. Recognizing this, Cal State University, Northridge (CSUN) is offering two free classes this summer to healthcare workers, frontline responders, or anyone who has had their work negatively impacted by COVID-19.
The initiative is called “Courses for Clauses” and the first class is “On the Edge of Chaos – Leadership in an Age of Disruption”, which will be teaching effective leadership strategies during times of crisis. The course will examine a variety of topics, from SWOT analysis to organizational life cycles, and strategic planning.
“Budgeting for Non-Budgetary Employees in the Public Sector” is the second class that will be offered. It will teach participants basic budget concepts, in addition to using real world examples to gain a deeper understanding of the topics covered.
