Everything Turns Up '12' at the District 12 Shindig

Guests turned up by the dozens on 12/12/12 at the Chatsworth offices of City Council District 12.

While the weather outside was turning dour and threatening Wednesday, things were bright and filled with holiday spirit inside Councilman Mitch Englander's Community Service Center at 9207 Oakdale Ave.

Englander was hosting a reception for community leaders, activists, politicos, and fire and police first-responders.

In one room, a table was laid out with sandwiches, chips, cheese and veggies. In another the high-calorie larder offered a Baker's Dozen of holiday cookies, sugary confections, Greek pastries, and a selection of sweets.
