Iris Int'l Sold for $348 Million; Jobs to Stay in Chatsworth
Headquartered at 9172 Eton Ave., it will become part of Danaher Corp.'s Beckman Coulter Diagnostics business.
About 200 jobs will remain in Chatsworth after the sale of Iris International to Washington, DC,-based Danaher Corp.
The $348-million deal will put the medical diagnostics company under the umbrella of Danaher Corp.'s Beckman Coulter Diagnostics business.
"Our plant is going to stay open and I think we'll keep most of our employees. There are always some changes when you take a company over but they very much like our products and it adds to their product line," Amin Khalifa, Iris's chief financial officer told the Daily News.
