Jack Osbourne Struck In Random Attack At Valley Coffee Shop
Jack Osbourne, of the "The Osbournes," was reportedly the victim of a violent and random attack by a homeless man at an LA Coffee shop.

STUDIO CITY, CA — Jack Osbourne was struck in an unprovoked attack at a Studio City coffee shop Wednesday reportedly by a transient, who was later taken down by Taser.
According to TMZ, Osbourne, who rose to fame on his family's reality show, “The Osbournes,” was having a morning cup of coffee Wednesday, sitting on the sidewalk patio of a Studio City coffee shop when a stranger sucker-punched him on the side of his head.
The gossip magazine reported that Osbourne got up from the blow and threw his coffee at the attacker, who fled on foot. Police reportedly caught up with the attacker, who had to be subdued by taser and taken into custody. However, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department declined to confirm the details of the attack with Patch.

It’s the most high-profile in a string of unsettling incidents of unprovoked attacks involving the homeless community in Los Angeles. In December, a homeless man died in police custody after allegedly pushing a 14-year-old boy onto the metro tracks, leaving bystanders to pull the boy to safety before an oncoming train. That same month, a homeless man was caught on camera pushing a pedestrian in front of an oncoming truck, critically injuring the man. Authorities are also investigating a number of deadly attacks targeting unsuspecting homeless victims including a drive-by shooting into a Venice encampment earlier this week, a random acid attack on a sleeping homeless couple in the San Fernando Valley last year, and a handful of unsolved shootings targeting people sleeping in homeless encampments across the region.
It's not the first time, however, that a Los Angeles celebrity has had a violent and seemingly unprovoked run-in. In 2105, a homeless man allegedly attacked and threatened to kill "NCIS" actress Pauley Perrette near her Hollywood home. He was ruled mentally unfit to stand trial.
