Letter: Volunteers Spend Day Cleaning Up Chatsworth
It was a busy Saturday in the community.

There were a lot of things happening in Chatsworth Saturday!
The Chatsworth Historical Society was busy at the Acre getting things ready for Sunday’s Annual Garden Festival.

Councilman Englander was sponsoring the cleanup of Chatsworth Park North Saturday morning.
The Helping Hands Project of Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, in conjunction with the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council, had a cleanup project along Canoga and Rinaldi (east side of the street-near the bridle path) to Chatsworth Street and Andora (north side of the street, along the bridle path). The project leaders were Diana Cass and Donee Chabot from the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and Dorothy Allison from the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council.

This is the second year that this project has been accomplished. Approximately 100+ members from the Church came out to help clean up Chatsworth. All weeds, sticks, pine needles were bagged to be picked up later by L.A. City.Â
