Man Killed In Crash With FedEx Van Identified
A 50-year-old man was killed in the Winnetka area Thursday when he was broadside by a FedEx van while making a U-turn.
WINNETKA, CA — Authorities Friday identified a 50-year-old man killed in a collision with a FedEx van in the Winnetka area Thursday morning.
Ernesto Salazar Rodriguez died at the scene of the crash. According to police, Rodriguez was driving a pickup truck northbound on Corbin Avenue at about 7 a.m. When he tried to make a U-turn, the FedEx van, which was also heading north, broadsided his truck.
The FedEx driver was not injured.
