McDonald's To Give Free Meals To Front-Line Workers In Northridge

Starting Wednesday, McDonald's will give out free meals every day to first responders and health care workers.

NORTHRIDGE — McDonald’s will begin thanking workers on the front lines of the new coronavirus crisis with a select menu of free food, including at locations in Northridge and Chatsworth.

Starting Wednesday, health care workers and first responders can pick up a free Thank You Meal at any McDonald's location in the United States.

“In appreciation for the health care workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics who are committed to our health and safety, McDonald’s will offer free Thank Your Meals between Wednesday, April 22, and Tuesday, May 5, as a token of appreciation for their selfless service,” the company said in a news release.

Here are the McDonald’s locations in Northridge and Chatsworth:

Each Thank You Meal will be available at no charge via drive-thru or carry-out options, and front-line workers will have a wide selection of orders from which to choose.

Breakfast: All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a hash brown.

  • Chicken McGriddles
  • Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit
  • Lunch and dinner: All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.

  • Double cheeseburger
  • 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets
  • Filet-O-Fish

  • To receive a free meal, McDonald’s says, health care workers and first responders just need to show their work badge or be in uniform. Additionally, there is a limit of one meal for each front-line worker per day.
