North Valley YMCA Reopens At Limited Capacity

The gym is at 25 percent capacity, and group fitness classes are still outdoors.

PORTER RANCH, CA — The North Valley YMCA in Porter Ranch officially reopened Monday, part of a wave of YMCA reopenings all over Los Angeles.

The North Valley Y is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and then again from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, and is closed Sunday.

The Y is complying with all LA County Public Health protocols. The gym will stay at 25 percent capacity. Members will have their temperatures taken upon entry, masks are required, and equipment is spaced at least 6 feet apart.

Fitness rooms 1 and 2 will remain open, but group exercise classes will remain outdoors for now. The pool remains closed until further LA County offers further guidelines.
