Ingo’s Tasty Diner NYE

Santa Monica's own Ingo's Tasty Diner is bringing in the new year with some live jazz! Come celebrate the end of 2017 and start of 2018 with VIP booths, your favorite dishes and cocktails, party favors and a champagne toast. The Ray Mehlbaum Quartet will be playing tunes all night, in honor of Santa Monica's historic jazz legacy. General Manager James Bushart may make an appearance with his trumpet as well.

Pacific Wheel New Year's Eve Show

Reaching far West in the continental United States, Pacific Park will feature its 90-feet tall 2018 countdown to New Year’s Eve on the world-famous Ferris wheel that will also feature a “Happy New Year!” horizontal crawl, oversized “2018,” multi-colored confetti, and a variety of colors and patterns for the New Year’s Eve celebration.

The Pacific Wheel’s 174,000 LED lights are mounted on the Ferris wheel’s structure including the 40 spokes and two hubs. The world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel’s lighting system features 16.7 million color value combinations while the programming and display software presents imaging up to 24 frames per second to display dynamic, custom, computer-generated lighting entertainment. The eco-friendly, enhanced LED lighting provides 81 percent greater energy savings than most Ferris wheel’s traditional incandescent bulbs.

“New Year’s Eve Live” With Anderson Cooper And Andy Cohen
Where to catch it: CNN
Why you should watch: For the first time ever, Anderson Cooper will host CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve Live special with none other than “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooper’s former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018” Hosted by Ryan Seacrest
Where to catch it: ABC
Why you should watch: Remember last year’s infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrest’s watch. So if that’s any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there aren’t any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
