Pedestrian Struck In Northridge Hit And Run

Police are searching for a dark blue sedan that hit a pedestrian near Northridge Middle School.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — A pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run in Northridge Monday afternoon, authorities say.

A dark blue sedan hit a pedestrian at the 17900 block of Chase Street, right near Northridge Middle School, at 12:30 p.m. Monday. The car sped away, and was last seen driving westbound on Chase Street, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Details on the victim or their current condition are not yet available, Cervantes said.
