Can it really be that a PHENOMENAL new SUSHI restaurant has opened in Chatsworth! My neighbor Mitchell who owns iconic CHATSWORTH CLEANERS was raving about this place. I checked out the great YELP reviews and bookmarked it. Enter MARU SUSHI BAR. Where have you been all my life?
We just got back from Maui where we waited over 1 hour to have what's called the best sushi on the island. This was better!!!

Our evening started with these two sashimi picks. Both outstanding. Like "close your eyes when you eat them"outstanding. On the left is ORANGE SALMON, on the right CAJUN TUNA BABY SPINACH. So tasty. Extremely FRESH fish. Beautiful presentation.
These are part of the ALL YOU CAN EAT menu which I highly recommend. For $29 per person there is a vast array of choices from sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and rolls.

This fish is so fresh and "melt in your mouth" delicious, from the smoked eel to the buttery salmon! With AYCE you can keep ordering until you are full but be sure to eat everything as you will be charged for leftovers.
The chefs here are artists. John, in black, in addition to being a knowledgeable waiter, is also a model and fitness expert. My husband says this is the best sushi he has ever had, and that is saying something as we eat it a lot. One of the recent Yelp reviewers has been back five times already. It's that good!
