
A new amenity at the Northridge Fashion Center could help prevent kids from distracting their parents as they try to get some shopping done.
The San Fernando Valley Business Journal reports that the shopping center recently deployed about 20 shopping carts equipped with tablets to entertain and educate children.
So far, its mainly a test by the owner of the plaza, General Growth Properties, Inc., to see if the tablets could engage shoppers and their children, the Business Journal reports.
